Join us in honoring the spirit of service through the Mary Jo Dwyer Philanthropy Competition at the 2025 National Convention! This year, Phi Eta Sigma chapters are invited to support READ OKC, a community initiative dedicated to fostering literacy and a love of reading among children. Chapters can participate by donating books directly from the Amazon Wish List, (you can purchase multiple copies of the same book and/or books that have previously been purchased) making it easy to give back and make a lasting impact. Not only will your chapter be part of a meaningful cause, but you’ll also contribute to Phi Eta Sigma’s tradition of leadership and service while competing for recognition in one of our most impactful convention traditions.

Chapters or individuals can mail donations to the national office or bring them to the 2025 National Convention in Oklahoma City. Donations will be accepted by mail until October 15. The chapter with the most donations will be the 2025 Mary Jo Dwyer Chapter Philanthropy Award winner and receive a $500 cash award for chapter operations.

If not purchased from the wishilist, donations will be valued as follows:

 - $5 for a paperback book

 - $10 for a hardback book
